In Which Tanya Resumes Blogging

Since I'm so often on Twitter and Facebook, I fell into the habit of posting there rather than blogging. (With 5 books coming out this year, I was also a little short on time.) But let's face it, I cannot be contained in a mere 140 characters! So I have returned, Blogverse. Brace yourselves.

What can you expect to see here? Sneak peeks of books 2 & 3 in my Hill Country Heroes series (Book 1, CLAIMED BY A COWBOY is still in most stores and available online in both print e-book). Tales of me trying to stay one step ahead of my too-smart-for-their-own-good children. Posts about what I'm currently reading (Moloka'i by Alan Brennert and The Goblin King by Shona Husk) or watching (Big Bang Theory, Top Chef, Castle, Once Upon a Time). And updates on my speaking schedule. I have writing workshops on the calendar for April, June, July and October, with more to come!

So check back soon for new posts and, for now, let me know what you're reading and watching! (Extra brownie points if you happen to be reading a book of mine *g*.)

I always love your books.

Yeah, glad you are back to blogging...140 characters does not do you justice, or your "too-smart for-their-own-good children." :-)

And Yeah, I just went and looked up Goblin King on Good Reads and I will be reading that book just for the cover alone, wow! ;-)

Thank you, Deborah!

Missy, um, the cover may have something to do with why I bought it :-D

Yeah, I just ordered it for my Kindle but I may have to go grab a paper version so that I can lovingly stroke the cover occasionally. Uh, did I just 'say that out loud' LOL

I'm not very far into Goblin King yet but am intrigued by the premise. I did finish the historical novel Moloka'i, which I sobbed through! It's about a little Hawaiian girl who gets sick & is sent to a leper colony. Beautiful story but not "light" reading. Need to read some happily ever after romances to recover! (Spoiler alert for Moloka'i... It actually did have a sort of happy ending, but lots of sad stuff happens first !)

Hi Tanya!
Can't wait for more from you. I'm reading LOTS! Matter of fact, I managed to wear out my Kindle and had to get it replaced.
I'm in the middle of Midnight Fear & when it comes out tomorrow, Edge of Midnight by Leslie Tentler, and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and The Edger by Marilyn Baron.
Call me cross-eyed and crazy! (sounds like a blues name!)
And... I'm watching Downton Abbey and recording Once Upon A Time. Love that show, but it is not as linear as DA.

Thanks for dropping by Jan and Pam--and for the recommends! I am not familiar with "Men of the Underworld," but what an intriguing title!

Pam, aren't Leslie's books fantastic?! She's incredibly talented. I highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys suspense!!! I read all three Hunger Games books in one back-to-back-to-back binge. I'm torn between being really excited for the movie and knowing that it's gonna be tough to watch for someone as squeamish as me!

Nice cover for book 2! I plan to read that soon.I'm also reading No Rest for the Wicked (because I borrowed it too long ago and kinda need to read it) also been reading the Old Testament for Disciple Bible study. Many parts of it could be subtitled "No Rest for the Wicked," BTW.

I like your shiny new blog, too!

Sally

Does it count if I just finished a book of yours? I thoroughly enjoyed Claimed by a Cowboy, the character dynamics and storytelling were superb! And I'm happy to see book 2 is available for pre-order!

All the best as you resume blogging (and thanks for the warning!)

Regan
